My first ” Dry Boots ” were Brigedale some thirty or so years ago, the boot have not changed very much over the years as they were a good boot then and still are now , yes the name has changes three times, but the boots remain the same, and your service was explant .

  2. Alan Woodison (verified owner)

These boots are ideal for tramping through wet and mucky fields. The boot itself is wide and roomy to accommodate heavier socks. The sizing was spot on for me. I found them to be quite heavy, requiring a bit more effort out on the dog walk. I have been looking for boots like this for some time but wasn’t sure they actually existed. Well, they do. Laces a bit long at 120cm but shorter ones are available online. The lace-up tabs are shaped to make tying the laces easy.

  3. David Kempton (verified owner)

A well made strong waterproof boot. I am now on my second pair having been very satisfied with my initial purchase and the length of time they have lasted which have been subject to daily wear for 2 years.

  4. Ann Preece (verified owner)

Very good waterproof boot. Sizing is quite big and wide – I am 5.5 with a wide foot and hesitated over ordering a 38, listed as size 5. However the boots are very roomy, so much so that I have to wear two pairs of thick socks. Good strong sole – perhaps a bit less flexible than a leather boot but then they are rubber – so the big plus is that they ARE waterproof, to the extent that I waded through a few inches of waterlogged ground with no problems today.

  5. Janet Simmons (verified owner)

I have difficulty finding boots that fit because I have wide feet but these fit very nicely. Surprisingly, my friend who has narrow feet also finds they fit well. I’ve been walking through deep puddles and mud all week and returned home with perfectly dry feet each time. I’m very pleased with my purchase.

  6. Michael Brown (verified owner)

Good boot, seem to be waterproof so far but quite cold as they are similar to a Wellington boot.
Also very large sizing, I ordered a 7 which is smaller than my usual size but still need two pairs of socks which is ok at the moment as they aren’t very warm (see above)

  7. sue rawlings (verified owner)

Bought for my husband who normally wears Altberg army boots. He is over the moon with the Harris boots, he says they are very comfortable to wear with good ankle support, and the best gripping soles he has ever had. He is very heavy on soles, so I am hoping these will last longer than the vibram soles on his usual boots.

  8. Patricia (verified owner)

Brilliant boots ,easy to clean very comfortable plenty of room for thick socks ,great .Highly recommended.

  9. Margaret (verified owner)

Very pleased with our Harris boots very good for walking our dog in muddy fields very good to get home with dry feet

  10. Bernard Brame (verified owner)

great stylish boot, fully waterproof but can be cold with frost and snow on them, but no worse than a wellington, laces a little long so replaced with 120cm ones, hope to get at least 4 years of walking thew dog twice a day

  11. XXX Moth (verified owner)

these boots are the BEST thing! I have tried so many that have claimed to be waterproof but havent been, and these are surprisingly comfortable as well as being very easy to clean..i wish I had discovered them before! they are generous sizewise so I can get a thick woollen sock with a liner sock in the size 6 I usually take and it is not tight still. I will be interested to see how warm they are in very wintry weather but i think there will be room for a sheepskin or thermal sole too. Very happy with these boots!

  12. Phillip Mills (verified owner)

Fed up with expensive brand name ‘waterproof’ walking boots leaking, I turned to the Harris Dry Boot. Out of stock direct so came to Boot & Saw for next day delivery. Ordered same size as normal shoes. Slight problem with condensation when worn all day but will try different socks. Hopefully they will last many years.

  13. Kathryn Dunbar (verified owner)

My first pair of Harris Dryboots lasted 2 years, which may not seem a long time but I do wear them almost every day: I am a ‘hands-and-knees’ gardener, shuffling along weeding borders and, in my spare time, I do quite a lot of walking. Constant scuffing of the toes along the ground when I’m weeding has worn the rubber quite thin and water is now trickling in. So, this is my second pair and I think they are the best waterproof boots on the market (and I’d tried a few!). They really are waterproof, very comfortable and supportive, especially around the ankles. They are quite heavy which is not a problem when walking but hell when running – especially after the woman who blocked me in with her car! They may only last another couple of years – but I’ll definitely buy another pair.

  14. Bob Buckland (verified owner)

    Excellent boots and service

  15. Anne (verified owner)

Just the boots I was looking for. Unfortunately I found them very heavy and inflexible. So not only did I pay for delivery postage I also had to pay for the return postage

  16. Jane (verified owner)

Prompt and excellent personal service, even to offering discount on delivery firms excess charge. My third pair of these boots, worn daily always warm and dry.

  17. Julie Hall (verified owner)

Excellent boots – totally waterproof – use them everyday for dog walking through fields / streams etc. Would highly recommend.

  18. Jim Sneddon (verified owner)

I wouldn’t be without a pair of these boots now. Just brilliant in the wet and the mud. Rinse or hose off the mud and you’re good to go for the next time. Great product and good company to deal with.

  19. steven (verified owner)

An excellent service and a superb product.

  20. Paul Mottram (verified owner)

Really helpful service and really quick delivery, had countless pairs over the years worn for work and still as good as ever several name changes later, thanks a lot

  21. David Marsden (verified owner)

So far so good. If these boots are as good as there predecessors, the Viking boots, they will outlast me. The delivery service was good too.

  22. Karin Adams (verified owner)

    Great boots and swift delivery

  23. Jo Lafferty (verified owner)

Excellent boots and excellent delivery. Thankyou

  24. Bill (verified owner)

Have had boots 10days. Wear them twice a day to walk dog in boggy fields. Very comfortable and so far very dry.

  25. Peter Jarrett (verified owner)

I have been searching for some good rubber/waterproof working boots for quite some time – I find wellington boots very uncomfortable when worn for long periods (I am a keen gardener and I do voluntary park and green space work). My search is now over. I have had my Harris Dryboots for nearly two weeks now and have found them absolutely superb. I have been able to wear them for long periods right from the outset and although the boots feel heavy when you first pick them up, they do not feel heavy once you’re wearing them. The fabric lining stops any feeling of being ‘sweaty’ in them even when worn with thick socks. I am normally a size 9.5 so went up a size to10’s. They were a good fit from the outset when worn with thick walking boot type socks. These boots are a bit expensive especially after adding the delivery costs BUT they are well worth the money. An excellent buy.

  26. Andrew Bale (verified owner)

Although I’ve only worn them once so far, I have found them very comfortable, sturdy and waterproof. Hopefully that description will be the same in months and years to come!!

  27. ian smith (verified owner)

really pleased with these boots like many more people on here i have tried so many boots and have all leaked within a few weeks so nice to have some boots that dont leak well worth the money thanx boot and saw

  28. Tom (verified owner)

Worn them twice on wet boggy ground… dry dry dry! They’re also comfy and seem tough and rugged. Also the service from boot n saw was excellent, I had to swap mine out for a bigger size, it was easy and efficient.

  29. Janice Sunley (verified owner)

The boots are excellent this is the 2 pair we have purchased, this pair is for are son he is very pleased with them great for dog walking.

  30. Ian Wiles (verified owner)

A fantastic boot and do what it says on the tin, keep your feet totally dry.
Boot are a large fitting so got half size down on my normal size, still room for an extra sock, or a thick sock.
Fantastic service from Boot and Saw!!!!!!

  31. Sean Wilkinson (verified owner)

Comfortable and waterproof so far. I have used them for daily dog walks in wet and muddy conditions for the last week. I will get some insoles as they are not warm in this November weather.

  32. Roy Bradley (verified owner)

Having recently purchased the boots, weather wise it has been an ideal time to try them out. In summary, the boots have done exactly what it says on the label – they are completely waterproof and importantly, comfortable to wear. So far so very good.

  33. Lynn Warburton (verified owner)

I Have finally found the boots, that are actually able to do, as they say. Perfect for long wet, muddy dog walks, and home with dry feet.

  34. David Frost (verified owner)

Unfortunately these boots didn’t fit me, they were a bit narrow and too long, they are also very heavy. The service from Boot & Saw was excellent, they arrived promptly as did the refund when I sent then back.

  35. Neil Skeates (verified owner)

    Good waterproof boot. Excellent delivery.

  36. Dave (verified owner)

The boots are definitely waterproof and a really comfortable fit but they are heavy relative to the majority of walking boots on sale nowadays.

  37. Joe Leone (verified owner)

Really love these boots, no more wet socks when taking my dog out in the morning

  38. William Rootes (verified owner)

complete dry feet at last in the garden and room for a good pair of socks for warmth

  39. Tony (verified owner)

At last boots that keep my feet dry when out walking the woods & fields with the dog.

  40. Peter Bicknell (verified owner)

Not yet tested in the wet but are easy on/off and feel comfy. I’m confident the boots will do the job. One small niggle, the laces are too long but that is really a minor point and soon rectified by a visit to a shop.

  41. Rory Turner (verified owner)

After trying numerous brands of Gortex walking boots for walking the dog on the Dunes and marshes around Southport I had given up hope of ever returning home with dry feet. All previous boots leaked to some degree. After reading the reviews I bought a pair of Harris Dry Boots and they perform exactly how described had them for a week now and walked through some awful weather conditions and feet bone dry. As other users have stated they feel heavy off the foot but when you get them on you don’t notice them, you do notice the dry feet though so really pleased with them so far…excellent product, thank you

  42. Pat Rigby (verified owner)

I’ve always had a pair of Dryboots for myself since the 1980’s,an excellent lightweight waterproof product.
This pair I bought for my wife who is helping out on my allotment.
She’s thrown her old wellies away and loves these boots

  43. Ewan (verified owner)

Not bad, keep feet dry in long wet grass, postage very expensive to Aberdeen, we are not in the Outer Hebrides ffs!

    • Tristan @ Boot&Saw (verified owner)

Thank you for your feedback. We sympathise with regards to the Highlands postage but unfortunately are forced to use the postal zones and according rates as set by the couriers themselves. I will be happy to pass your comments on to DPD.

  44. Bob (verified owner)

Seem pretty good so far, look good for wet weather

  45. J Jones (verified owner)

Really happy with the boots. Comfortable. Feet stay dry in very wet grass. I had been uncertain whether they would be too heavy but they’re only a little heavier than my normal walking boots. Service from Boot and Saw was excellent. Would certainly be happy to recommend.

  46. Carolyn O’Gormley (verified owner)

This is my second pair of these boots, my last pair lasted 3 years , they are worn for dog walking 6 miles every day so grip bottoms have pretty much worn down, they are completely waterproof, would not buy anything else .

  47. Maurice (verified owner)

Not had these boots a week yet but first impressions are very good. The sizing is true to size. They seem slightly heavy compared to other boots I’ve owned in the past but my feet have never been drier. Well impressed so far.

  48. Andrew Elliott. (verified owner)

My third pair of these boots – the first bought in the mid 1980’s. I couldn’t be happier with both the boots and the service. Considering buying a spare pair to keep with ice crampons permanently attached. Very happy.

  49. Donna Brazier (verified owner)

My husbands a fisherman and thinks they’re great, This is his second pair… the last, lasted 2 years, wearing them 6 days a week.

  50. Sue (verified owner)

Excellent boots for daily low level walks in rainy Cumbria!Heavy but you don’t notice.Comfy from the get go like a Brooks bike saddle….praise indeed!

  51. Lynda Watson (verified owner)

Updated review.while I am still very pleased with the level of waterproofing of these boots, I am very disappointed in the amount of use I got before the heels became very worn down, worn only in wet weather and mainly on fields walking the dog.Fortunately my local cobbler was cable to reheel these for me, but considering how much they cost, I was disappointed that they were not more hard wearing. My cobbler commented that the compound material used on the heels and sold was very soft

  52. Rachel (verified owner)

Very pleased with these boots. Bought expressly for their water-proof quality having been through countless pairs of walking boots which have failed to stay dry. Very heavy – surprisingly so – but once on, this does not pose a problem. We don’t wear leather and I had presumed (never presume!) that as these are rubber they would fine for us. Can you confirm that no animal products or by-products are used in the manufacture? e.g. the glue and the rubber itself. Animal fat turns up in the weirdest of places…

    • Tristan @ Boot&Saw (verified owner)

Thanks for your review Rachel, glad you are pleased with the boots. I can confirm that no animal products are used in the manufacture of Harris Dryboots.

  53. Dan Neville (verified owner)

2nd pr. 1st lasted over 2years doing a minimum of 8 miles a day with my dog.

  54. AndrewSewelliom

The boots are great, the size 10 was a little small for me but they were exchanged free of charge but I had to pay return postage which was £9. The laces really are to long but you can cut them and seal them with heat, but be carefull not to make them too short.

  55. Andy Williams (verified owner)

This is my fourth pair- generally very good although quite heavy. The only significant problem is that the rubber compound on the sole is very soft- any use on hard surfaces very quickly wears away the tread leaving the boots very slippery and therefore unusable on hard wet surfaces- i.e walking back to a vehicle on a pavement after working in wet ground.

  56. Dominic (verified owner)

It is so nice these days to have the level of service we received from the team at Boot&Saw, there was a slight problem which was resolved immediately with no fuss. My wife loves the boots as she cannot remember the last time she was able to walk our dog without coming back with wet feet! Can’t give the company or the product anymore compliments

  57. John Nicholson (verified owner)

I am very pleased with the boots so far. After years of purchasing so called
‘waterproof’ boots it’s nice to return home from walking the dog with dry feet. If I was to be really critical of the boots, I would have personally liked a wider heal.

  58. Essie Darragh (verified owner)

Hurrah, have been to the fields with my dogs and have come home with completely dry feet, first time ever. Super boots.

  59. Jennifer (verified owner)

Went out of their way to ensure I received my boots next day, also wrote on my parcel where to leave them safe. I would HIGHLY recommend this company. So far so good they’ve kept my feet dry. I’ve gone through umpteen pairs of Wellington’s but all split at the sides, I do hope these last though.

  60. Andy Cummings (verified owner)

Harris Dry Boots arrived promptly, are a great fit, comfortable and waterproof. Perfect very pleased

  61. Orna Gilchrist (verified owner)

As a professional gardener it’s brilliant to have a pair of boots that really are waterproof!

  62. Mike (verified owner)

I’ve had a pair of the original Bridgedale Viking Dryboot for over 20 years which have given good service. My feet have grown and spread so I was looking for a replacement. I was pleased to find the same boot (under a different name)was available. I’ve had these for 2 weeks and they are every bit as good as the originals. Service and delivery were spot on.

  63. Dan M (verified owner)

These boots are great. I am a gardener, outdoors 5 days a week, and as of two weeks ago when I bought these boots this is the first time in nearly 20 years that my feet have been completely dry all the time.

  64. Linda Sneddon (verified owner)

My husband says that these are perfect for taking our dog out on wet, muddy walks – beach, fields, forest walks with dry feet – what more could you ask for!

  65. G. Phillips

I have been looking for a totally waterproof boot for sometime.l would like to say how delighted I am with these boots. I must say the customer service was first class I would definitely recommend Boot&Saw

  66. Nick Bowdon (verified owner)

Arrived promptly. They have a sturdy sole, and lots of room inside. More comfortable than I expected. Hope they last!

  67. Guy Merchant (verified owner)

I have already reviewed the Harris Dry Boots but having just bought yet another pair I thought I would reiterate that these boots are the only 100% waterproof ankle boots out there. Tried so many that said “100% waterproof” and they all let in water, even expensive brands like . Not only are the Dry Boots waterproof but they are incredibly comfortable. I use mine every day in spring, winter and autumn and I can walk miles and miles and return home with dry feet and no discomfort at all.
My new Harris Dry Boots were delivered very promptly indeed and cusatomer service from Boot&Saw has always been first class.

  68. phil nixon (verified owner)

Looking forward to using my 2nd pair of dryboots, my first lasted 25 years, and the new pair will last till I pass through the pearly gates, (must make sure there is no mud on them at that point !)

  69. John Friar (verified owner)

Only had them a few days but I am impressed with the comfort, good sturdy soles with solid grip. Out in the rain and mud and my feet are totally dry. Well pleased so far.

  70. Patrick Taylor (verified owner)

The first time I have bought these and so far I am very pleased. I have tried expensive and cheap leather boots over 20 years and have never found any that remained waterproof. Such a pleasure now to get back from my morning walk in wet fields with bone dry feet.

  71. Tristan Snow (verified owner)

Boots are absolutely brilliant, craftsmanship is great they certainly feel sturdy and strong. Hoping to get a lot of years out of them. Boots are what they say and I didn’t get wet feet up to the second to last lace hold. Also customer service is brilliant with astounding delivery, arriving the day after I ordered them. Would happily buy from Boot and Saw again you’ve been great!

  72. Adrian Curtis (verified owner)

I had a pair of these many years ago and didn’t realise until now how much I missed them. On ordering I was slightly worried about getting the sizing right (went with my regular shoe size) so I was pleased to find the fit was perfect. I used the boots for thee days on a muddy festival site. What a joy!

  73. be_jayuk (verified owner)

Excellent boot for dog walking. Dry and comfortable. Quality delivery.

  74. Amanda Wills Gardens (verified owner)

Fast delivery from Boot & Saw. The boots are comfortable and waterproof so far, though I have only had them for a few weeks. The laces are longer than they need to be, but that’s easily resolved. I spend a lot of time crouching when I am in the garden, so the first part that usually breaks on my boots is the sole splitting away where the foot is flexed. I am curious to see whether Harris Dryboots last longer than other walking boots I have tried for gardening.

  75. V Woodhouse (verified owner)

bought my first pair to wear on my crossing, seem to be just what I want to keep my feet dry and warm. Impressed with the speed of delivery

  76. Lynda Watson (verified owner)

I was fed up with buying ‘waterproof’ walking boots that leaked after a few weeks and sick of wet feet so I decided to try these. I have had them for a week, used every day for dog walking and the fields have been wet. My feet have stayed dry and comfortable, I have blisters on both heels but that is usual for me with new shoes/boots. Look forward to many months of dry feet

  77. Jeff pattison (verified owner)

A good quick and efficient service from the unusually named boot and saw . It’s early days , but so far the boots have proved comfortable and most importantly , waterproof . I have spent quite a lot of money on so called waterproof boots which have proved anything but ….

  78. David Penn (verified owner)

I’ve had these now for over six months.
They are sturdy and robust and ideal for working in the garden (muddy or otherwise!).
They are also surprisingly quite comfortable – perfect for rambling for hours in the countryside.
In fact, I wore them happily recently for two stretches of 4 and 6 hours clambering across the rough/uneven ground off the main paths at the wonderful Westonbirt Arboretum.
One important point to mention, though (and this is why I have marked down to 4*) – although they are certainly waterproof in the sense that they don’t let water in from the outside, that’s unfortunately not to say that your feet can’t get wet from the inside, because they can: After my hours wearing these boots at Westonbirt (in pleasantly warm, but not really hot weather) my feet had sweated quite a lot in these all-rubber, unventilated boots and parts of my socks had become quite soaked and needed changing for comfort before the drive home [in regular shoes].
    Apart from that, highly recommended!

  79. Christine White (verified owner)

My husband says these are the best boots ever. Already had several pairs. Good service with prompt delivery.

  80. tom egglington (verified owner)

Great boots.I had an American rubber boot from Grubb before but they were hopeless due to the rubber tearing around the eyelets. The Harris boot has solved this problem and I use them on wet days for walking. They are also very comfortable.

  81. phil warcup (verified owner)

I had my first pair for 2 years and wear them non stop, they were my only foot wear and I loved them and wear them untill they fell apart.

  82. Alyn Goodchild (verified owner)

I have a pair of Viking dry boots which are excellent they now have no tread and in use in the garden. These new Harris boots are identical so should be just as good as the Viking boot. 10 out of 10

  83. Brian (verified owner)

Decided on these after reading all the reviews and getting wet feet with other boots. I walk and run a lot with my dog in all weathers so I found wellies too cumbersome. These are comfortable if a little heavy but are well suited to pretty much any terrain. I haven’t had them long but I am impreesed with them. Delivery was prompt. Free delivery would have been even better

  84. Simon Baddeley (verified owner)

prompt delivery and easy to wear in- keeping my feet dry which is what I wanted

  85. Eryl M Jones (verified owner)

Prompt delivery and very comfortable the first time I wore them!Looking forward to walking many more miles with our 3 cocker spaniels

Does exactly as it says on the tin. Didn’t require breaking in and as a dog walker/boarder I wear them all day, everyday. I am very happy with them.

  88. Jean Williamson (verified owner)

I was able to put on Harris Boots on and walk for an 2 hours straight off with no blisters. So no breaking in. I am off. Thank you Harris, comfy walking

Harris boot with thick socks are warm, comfortable, and totally dry, ideal for long muddy walks along the canal towpath, my last pair of dryboots lasted for 18 years, highly recommended.

  91. Guy Merchant (verified owner)

My wife and I have been using Harris Dry Boots by Viking for over 40 years and they are superb. The best boots on the market and ridiculously good value for moneyg. They are warm, extremely comfortable, 100% waterproof and the last for ever if you look after them. Highly recommended!! 🙂

  92. John Withnell (verified owner)

Great waterproof boots, excellent for winter dog walks. Good hard soles keep feet protected from rough ground. The fit is generous, so you need thick socks.

  93. alan Taylor (verified owner)

Very good service. Boots very well made. I have changed the boot laces as I prefer a more substantial,( round profile), lace.Easy to get into and comfortable to wear.

  94. Rob (verified owner)

    Excellent boots, excellent service!

  95. Lee

Very pleased, once again. Second pair now, original pair for me and these ones for my wife. Comfortable and well made, would highly recommend.

  96. Jay Mackay (verified owner)

These boots are just brilliant. They are roomy, comfortable and totally waterproof. I walk between 5 and 10 miles a day with my dogs plus muck out two horses and I haven’t had one single leak!
I am a size 7 and I would say the boots come up slightly large but then it gives enough room to add an extra pair of socks or some fluffy insoles.
The service from Boot and Saw is extremely good and friendly and I. Definitely going to buy from them again. One very happy customer, I am.

  97. Derek (verified owner)

So pleased to find that these dry boots are still made I had still got a pair of Vikings they are the best boots I have ever walked in no other boots compare excellent quality

  98. Kevin (verified owner)

I bought these for walking the dogs on the beach and muddy tracks as well as to be used on my allotment during the colder and wetter months and couldn’t be happier. If there was and option for a sixth star then Boot and Saw would get it for their prompt and beyond the call of duty customer service.
I have wide feet and these fit like a glove and were instantly comfortable with no need for breaking in. I’ve added a pair of quality insulated boot liners to the combination and after five miles in the sub-zero temperatures on the beach, through the rock pools and muddy tracks this morning, my feet were the warmest and driest they have ever been.
    Hesitating? Don’t – Get a pair now!

  99. Stephen (verified owner)

Great boots so far, comfortable, only worn a couple of times so far,so can’t really judge properly yet but so far so good

  100. Andy Jowett (verified owner)

I was really happy to find out the dry boot is still being made. I had many pairs of this boot (both Bridgedale and Viking) in the 80s and 90s. This is the only truly waterproof boot I have ever owned and is just as comfortable as Berhaus etc which are twice the price. Boot and Saw were great to deal with and I will be buying another pair of these for my wife in due course. Now the dry boot is back I wont buy anything else

  101. Juergen (verified owner)

“HARRIS DRYBOOTS The ultimate tough boot that does exactly what its name suggets ” that was the headline I found in my july issue of LAND ROVER MONTHLY. As I looked for such a product for a long time I ordered them with BOOTSANDSAW. Delivery to Germany was fast and the boots met perfectly my expectations: tough, waterproof and comfortable. But what is even better is an outstanding service to solve minor quality issues and a short response time on emails. Product and supplier highly recommendable.

  102. Tom (verified owner)

After reading so many good reviews, I got a pair of Harris Dryboots. They are waterproof, warm, and very comfy. I’ve only had them a week, so I can’t say anything on how long they last, but I’m very happy with them. Boot&Saw delivered very quickly too.

  103. TL (verified owner)

Arrived promptly – no complaints with boots. Looking forward to dry feet

Spent years in Bridgedales. Very pleased to have found an alternative after they ceased production and my old boots disintegrated. Fantastic on the hill and in boggy peaty ground. Highly recommended and a very efficient service from Boot & Saw. Many thanks.

Had a pair for Christamas from my wife to use whilst I’m fly fishing at my local reservoir, which has sloping grass banks, i have now worn them a number of times and can fully recommend them, they are totally waterproof and provide excellent grip even on slightly muddy ground, they feel a little heavy but this is not at all noticeable whilst being worn.

I keep wearing the heels down on fitted wellingtons so after reading the reviews am really hopeful my new Harris’ will last longer than a couple of months. I was surprised how heavy they are but they are very comfortable to wear and don’t look enormous. Very speedy delivery too.

First pair called Bridgedale used 50 days per year lasted 10 years. 2nd pair called Viking, worn about 200 days per year for over 3 years. Pair three Harris ordered Friday arrived Wednesday. Heavy but comfortable, waterproof and a very good product. Hope they keep manufacturing these great boots.

Very happy with the boots which are my first, but found that the boot laces are very long for the number of eyelets

Ordered over Weekend, and boots turned up Tuesday Morning. Have worn the three times now on medium walks (up to 12 Miles) and the have been very comfortable with no wearing in required.

Not had them in too wet conditions yet, but muddy ground is easily washed off.

I’ve just received a pair of Harris Dryboots to replace my Viking Dryboots which I’ve had for at least 15 years. I’m so glad someone has decided to stock these boots. The Harris are just as comfortable as the Viking. These boots are the only ones I’ve ever been truly comfortable in when walking any time of year. Excellent service from Boot and Saw – prompt delivery.

I bought these boots as an alternative to wellies as I have a long term injury to my foot and can’t tolerate long boots. They are totally waterproof, solid and well made. Sadly however the construction of the base of the boot (they are very hard with little give) does not suit my injured foot and although I can use inserts and padding they are not the most comfortable boots to wear for any length of time. They would be brilliant for those with ‘normal’ feet but not for those with foot issues. Still would recommend.

Great boots. Comfy. A little less well insulated than I expected given the description but then it is snowy… Delivery prompt but nothing less than I’d expect for 6.99. Would like to see an economy option as wasn’t in a huge rush. Thanks

For me – just the job . Use them when weather not so good and am walking dogs. Had ” Vikings ” before . These replace them .

reliably dry, very comfortable to walk in, dry very quickly if they do get wet. only draw back is that they don’t offer much insulation if standing in snow/ice.

  130. Peter Moyle (verified owner)

Excellent. As expected, completely waterproof but also well made and comfortable.
A black coloured boot would be a nice option.

I have been using Viking Dry Boots for over twenty years and have always found them most satisfactory. A pair usually lasts for two years and cover 2/3,000 miles, of varied terrain but mostly soft going. Thankfully Harris has taken up the brand and I look forward to many more dry, comfortable miles.

Quick delivery; boots smaller than same size in leather walking boots but still room for pressure relieving innersole so very comfortable from day 1. Worn every day on current sludgy footpaths so will be interested to see how long they last.

These boots are the ultimate. I first had a pair years ago (Viking) when we had an Irish Wolfhound. I would walk 6 plus hours a day in very harsh terrain, and this boots was the only thing that kept me warm and dry. The soil was heavy clay and with other boots I would finish up with around a stone of earth on each foot. I have permanently cold feet and these did the trick. They lasted 7 years before the sole was smooth. that was all that was wrong with them and we thought about re sole-ing them, but my husband treated me to a new pair of dry boots. Can not recommend them highly enough!

I’m so pleased that someone took on the production of the viking dryboot I have had at least four pairs over the years they are the only boot that will stand up to twice daily four season dog walking without tedious maintenance not only are they totally waterproof but comfortable to wear all year round
the Harris version appears to be identical to the viking i still have my last pair of vikings and use them in the garden the soles are all but smooth – they must have done at least 2 thousand miles (that would be the ultimate dream Harris dryboots with a vibram sole – they would probably last forever)
