October operations and hold ups
I’m going to need a minute…
An unscheduled and hasty trip to Treliske Hospital this week for an emergency operation means things in the Boot & Saw workshop are currently on hold until I can, quite literally, get back on my feet.
Far from ideal timing, October is traditionally the month when things in the workshop step up a gear for the busy winter and fast approaching festive rush. However, as a one man operation and the job being a physical one, I have little choice but to take the doctor’s advice and hit the pause button for a while, until I’m back to form and fit to return to the workshop.
With this in mind, and as I hand make all wooden products to order, please note that there will be an additional wait of a few weeks for all new orders with approximate lead times stated on the individual products pages. Footwear orders will be dispatched as usual where possible.
In the meantime, thank you for your patience and understanding and thank you to the staff of Royal Cornwall Hospital for the amazing work that they do. If you have any further queries, please feel free to contact me and I will get back to you as soon as possible.
Many thanks, Tristan
